Euonymus alatus 'Compactus'

Dark green leaves spring through summer turn vibrant scarlet in the fall.  Corky ridges on flat horizontal branches give plant an interesting look in the winter.

Upright, vase-like growth habit becomes spreading rounded and horizontally lavered with maturity.  Growth is dense and compact and needs very little pruning.

Excellent for hedge plant, space 4 feet apart.  Also used in mass plantings, shrub boarder and as accent plant.  Full sun for best fall color.
