Juniperus chinensis 'Saybrook Gold'

A compact, horizontal, spreading evergreen shrub.  Has stiff branches with drooping dips.

Needle-like foliage is vivid gold in summer, more bronze-gold in winter.  Considered the brightest gold-foliaged of all the chinese junipers.

Excellent foundation or border plant.  Requires little maintenance.

Tolerates some drought, heat and humidity, pollution, seashore conditions, slopes, and wind.  Is deer resistant.
