Coreopsis verticillata 'Moonbeam'

A very dependable bloomer that blooms from June to the first frost.  Scattered masses of small, daisy-like, pale lemon yellow flowers with dark yellow centers sit on top of the foliage.  The dark green foliage is erect, upright, fine textured and needle-like giving the plant a delicate airy look.

Forms a low, rounded, dense mound. Remains dormant until the weather is warm, so it is late to emerge in the spring.  Is an extremely tolerant, very hardy and easy to grow plant.  Attracts butterflies and is deer resistant.  Has no serious insect or disease problems.

A great filler plant for borders, foundations, edging, rock gardens, naturalized areas.  Also does well in containers and hanging baskets.  Cutback foliage in spring before new growth appears.
